From the very beginning of the company, Balurghat Technologies has placed a strong emphasis on community service. At the time, the company was known as Balurghat Air Transport and began its operations with a modest investment of Rs.30,000.

Soon after the company began its operations, the founders were approached by a local school in Rajasthan for a donation. Despite having limited funds available, the company's founders recognized the importance of supporting the community and made a donation of Rs.7,000, followed by an additional donation of Rs.5,000. These donations were a significant chunk of the funds set aside for operations, but the founders were determined to prioritize community service and give back to the community that had supported them.

Today, this school is still running and continues to receive regular donations from the family. This commitment to community service has been carried forward in the running of the company. Each generation of leadership has embraced this as an important part of the company's value system, recognizing the importance of supporting the communities in which they operate.
